Shorewest, Realtors Continues the Christmas Is for Kids Tradition in 2021

 

This holiday season we were proud to give time, resources, and charitable donations to families and organizations in need throughout southeastern Wisconsin. We are proud to call these communities home and look forward to giving back every year.

Once again the Shorewest employees, friends, and families joined in the holiday spirit with our 38th annual Christmas is for a Kids event (C4K). Throughout the year, fundraisers are held, such as the annual C4K golf outing, to raise money and other resources to make this event happen. The donations provide books, hygiene products, jackets, mittens, hats, scarves, a gift, and food for children and families in our communities. 

To get in the holiday spirit, many of our offices, along with Santa himself, helped deliver presents to local families! Shorewest was able to provide 450 gifts and 375 stockings to families and shelters such as the Salvation Army, Sojourner Family Peace Center, and La Causa, Inc. We were also able to provide 500 families pre-made holiday dinners from our partner, Sendiks, and those that were not picked up were delivered to the Salvation Emergency Lodge. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year was once again held remotely, but we look forward to the next time we are able to host Christmas for Kids in person again!
